Just finished updating my second wood necklace from 2007. Each ring from the original design was about 8 prims because I was excited about combining different woods however three years later as my texture skills leveled up I was able to make each ring one prim. Two if you count the shadows. I also gave it a little glazed look. A little lighting and shadow makes everything look better.

Well, that's all for today. -- This one was a rather quick makeover. After I remake the earrings for these sets I have in mind to actually make new pieces. I have the designs in my sketchbook already just need to execute!

I finished the makeover for my first wood necklace and now moving on to a new design.
All the textures are the same from the older necklace except now added depth with shadows and lighting. Bringing out the wicker was a challenge but I'm content with the outcome for now.

There are no sculpties in this necklace; all are tortured Second Life prims. I'm still getting acquainted with ZBrush. Applying new texture tricks to old work is kind of fun.

Just posting my progress. :)

It's almost fall and I thought I'd re-introduce my over three year old bohemian wood jewelry. Give the old girls a little face lift as well as make some new pieces. We'll see how it goes! This is what I lazily have so far on terms of visual updates on my most popular wood set back then.

A little hello!

Firstly, hello everyone! It's been a while since I made anything in Second Life. I can't speak for many other content creators, artists or creative souls out there but for a long while I had lost my muse; inspiration had left me dry and my energies seem exhausted. Thankfully that era is history and I'm starting fresh. Have you ever felt this way? In what ever venue you create or are passionate about. Somehow that spark of fire has just died and it takes time for your creative soul to heal. In fact, re-igniting that creativity is the best healing mechanism.

Since Caliah Lyon and Miriel Enfield left Second Life I felt desolate and void as a virtual jeweler. Such great talents leaving for more important or alternative endeavors. I am learning continually that this life (both 1st and 2nd) is about endless growth on so many different levels. -- Plenty of content creators are strictly "business only" and remain professional and impersonal but I want to be personal and intimate. WHATS NEW?

This locket was made October 2009 as a custom request by a gentleman who wanted something special for his girlfriend but I was unable to officially release and announce the set until now. Heirloom
precious moments locket

Heirloom locket updated. New textures, no SL shine but instead using my new metal textures. Added sculpty gems. Added pendant shadow. Made the colour variations less but more aesthetically selective. I'm not that happy with the display model but I can change that in the future. Enjoy!

Also, I've been trying to be more aware of my displays making sure they are a bit xstreet or OnRez friendly. I've never actively used those outlets but I'm interested in starting.

Well, it's been a while. I had some problems with SL version 1.21 and 1.22 and I had to get comfortable with both versions. With 1.21 there is the clothing texture bug and with 1.22 there is the bug where I am unable to build prims near the neck and chest. But everything is okay now.
I've been working on this new set above. The quartz version is inspired and the other three variations are my own flavor. I've been making jewelry in SL for 3 years now but it doesn't feel like it. I think early last year I started focusing more and more on texture art and really personalizing my textures. I hope it shows. I worked REALLY hard on these and it took me a while. Sometimes making the textures weren't as intense as finding design combinations I was comfortable with. I don't want to release just anything. I want to give you my best.
I hope you love these! I'm very proud to release them.

I started Maya ll late October 2008 but then I ran into a creative dry spell. I came back to it now refreshed and I was happy to complete the set and finally release it. I disabled metal touch variation on this set because as a designer I want people to solely wear the metal I find appropriate according to the stone. I hope you love it! The original Maya is unfortunately discontinued at the moment. There are also bracelets available and you may find them at the main shop.

I was refreshed to work on some jewelry again.
This is the second set I worked on after my break
and it was inspired by a design Roslin Petion showed me long ago.
I improvised and added a large dose of my own flavor.

ut in the end I am quite pleased with the after effect;
the color play on the crystals and the subtlety of the tear drop.

Mala Meditation Beads - Preview

General Tidbits

Today I started a Mala Buddhist Meditation Necklace for men since I made that promise to dedicate atleast one set for men every release. -- However I noticed a lot of women buy my mens jewelry for themselves so I may or may not take the time to make womens sizes from now on. It depends on how many women harass me. Ideally Id like to make exclusive jewelry for men because lets face it, content just for men in Second Life is still neglected. But then I thought if a woman would shop irl for a piece of jewelry they would wear it too (Rosaries, Meditation Beads) regardless if it were marketed to men. I dont know, we'll see. But this is what the Mala Beads look like so far. I re-used to black pearl texture for an onyx look and Im in the middle of making a malachite texture and then some.

Earlier in the day Siyu Suen made a conference message about Nyx Linden opening up his office time for content creators to talk to him about things theyd like to see in the near future for Second Lifes content making posibilites. The conversation as expected was a bit technical and I tried to keep up as much as I could. I was proud to understand most of the lingo meaning Ive earned a geek badge somewhere. Caliah kept me sane with fashion talk for the hour though.

A nice girl customer messaged me today about my discontinued Heirloom Locket which is currently under update and she asked if Flora Set was a locket. Its a good idea to make Flora a locket so I'll add that to my to-do-list for sure and also re-release Heirloom Locket.

Out of the blue I asked my friend Sylar to make me a skybox since he showed me his new loft house last week and I loved it. He made me a smaller variation of his larger loft and its the most perfect workspace. I have just enough room to make jewelry, check out my project board, take some snapshots, have my close friends over, relax when Im browsing the web or just to afk leaving SL on. I love it!

Poseidon Pearls - Preview 2

Here are more previews for the cluster pearls I now call Poseidon Pearls. All of my jewelry names are feminine but this set begged to be named after the God of the Sea. A gift from the water deity himself. I spent the better part of my work day making a seamless black pearl texture and applying it prim by prim onto the necklace. I hope you like it.

Whenever I passionately talk about large statement jewelry my lover once said, "What do you even wear with that?". I thought for a moment and realized that perhaps people may have trouble visualizing an outfit with my jewelry, too. So I took the time to do some head to toe styling with these visuals just for you to get an idea what I would personally recommend as a jeweler and a stylist. After staring at the same jewelry sets all day in prims and textures in Photoshop my mind gets weary so doing a little style post here was relaxing. Tata! We'll keep in touch. Thoughts? Friday Release Preview

Cluster Pearl - I wanted to stay away from traditional pearl designs and do a large faux pearl statement set. I'm still brewing pearl color combinations. I know I want to use subtle gold and pink pearls but I'm not sure yet. This set may come out this Friday or the next. In my original sketch the pearl drop went close to the belly button but I decided to align it closer to the collarbone instead. I'm not sure if I should still execute my extra long original design since Nala Set (below) is already so long. If I were to make the longer Cluster Pearl necklace it would be a generous U-Shape around the start of the cleavage and as I mentioned it would drop mid torso. Let me know what you think. ^^

Nala, Long Ethnic Necklace - I dreamed of this necklace before I designed and made it. It's fun, it's frilly but it's still elegant and high fashion. I was stumped on the texture to make for it then my partner Tag advised "bright shiny colored metals" and I agreed. I may want to play with textures and make pure wood variation but we'll see how it works out. I hope you love it! We'll keep in touch. ^.~

As a guy avatar its hard to find a personal everyday look I just love. I've been wearing Laqroki - Ethan skin for a very long time now since I was so happy I found a "pretty boy" Asian/Pacific Islander like skin. I've also been wearing Happy Dispatch - Nekoge hair for a while. But alas its finally time for a change! Caliah Lyon told me about a new skin store she found called SUBARU and I checked it out and fell in-love with Subaru - Kyle skin. It's a little paler than my normal preference but the skin is so beautiful and attractive It was completely irresistable. Also I'm changing my every day "main" hair to Novocaine - Edward since it works so well with my new skin.

Kahto-Africa Choker Set

I've been under the weather and I had to make a quick ad for GLAM Magazine. A cup of coffee as my best friend and a "less is more" artistic mindset this is what I was able to come up with. A very simple ad where the jewelry is complete prominence. I showed this very simple set to two ladies I highly respect and adore and they both said "Wow". So I guess Kahto is a winner for today. This set is influenced by Korto (pronounced "Kahto") from Project Runway Season 5.

Rebirth Jewelry Set

Here's a sneak peak at what I'm currently working on. I couldn't help but have fun with the visuals as always. My partner Tag Mulligan convinced me to release bi-weekly instead of weekly in bulk instead of piece by piece like I usually do. I groaned and moaned but decided it was a good idea. So in order to feed my weekly itch I'm doing these teaser ads highlighting some of the detail or my current work both brewing and on the shelves.

I wanted to reserve being more chatty about my pieces on the new blog (lucaslameth.wordpress.com) which is currently for the most part empty at the moment. Tao Takashi is a busy man to get a hold of to register for the fashion planet feed. Good thing my dear friend Catero enlightened to a new feed by Carissa Crimson which continues the same dedication Tao has in mind with a progressive Fashion Feed but now with an easier on-web sign-up. Also, there is content control which seems nice. Both feeds are ofcourse best to keep up with for your daily Second Life fashion scoop.

As for the new pieces, scheduled to be released next Friday, they may be a jungle when it comes to variety. I had originally intended on making a collection called "Rebirth" but now have decided to reserve that name for the set you see above. This set was inspired by a random trip a friend and I took to the Buddhist Temple at Chinatown, NYC. The gift shop near the entrance had a few random pieces in a showcase and I helped myself to purchasing a necklace I may be brave enough to wear myself as a male. The intricacy of the design inspired me to make this elaborate pendant and earrings. I call it "Rebirth" because of the Buddhist belief in reincarnation. I wanted to center the creation of this simple set as a symbolism on the recent transformation of my shop.

(luc) Opening Party Celebration Wrap-Up.

The opening party was a huge success! It was so refreshing to see so many new and familiar faces. The party lasted 2 1/2 hours but the fun lasted for much longer. Thanks to everyone who attended, I enjoyed all your company. Thanks to all the Seven staff for working with me through the party and thanks to Samara Barzane, Choice Sliter and my love Tag Mulligan helping me setup the new shop in just about two weeks. Now that the hard part is over it's all about the jewelry again. I'm a little late on my new release since I spent all night finding beautiful looks to present the jewelry. -- Also my Gift Card send outs are also late, which were supposed to be sent out at midnight SLT but it's 2:21 PM and I'm getting to it. I needed my 10 hours of beauty sleep in order to function and not be groggy. I wanetd to breathe in as much autumn inspiration as I could and design something and this is what I birthed. A lot of Indian, Tibetan and Nepalese influences. Since I really like to browse those kinds of shops in first life. I thought I would design and share some of the aesthetics and color I appreciate in those cultures. -- Gold is naturally my comfort metal and so I struggle a little working with silver gem/focus piece color combinations. Although I am very pleased to have finally made an antiqued silver texture I am content with. With silver I usually head to pastels and brights and keep my earthy colors with the gold. I was asked to set up shop at an island sim called Celistia by the lovely Laetitia Vella and usually I avoid store rentals like the plague but as soon as I saw Joan Monstre's work I fell in-love. I also saw it as a nice opporunity to set out a few beach inspired jewelry sets I've been brewing up. So it was a match made in heaven.

Using Kamoana Shell Jewelry Sets as Inspiration for Outfits
Formal, Beachwear and Casual

A lot of times it can be rather confusing matching up eccentric jewelry with the right outfit. Some people may wear jewelry habitually like a pair of shoes or a comfortable hairstyle but jewelry, like all your accessories, make up real flavor to an outfit. So here are a few looks today using EARTHTONES new Kamoana shell jewelry set as inspiration.

Look #1 Formal - The visual ad for Kamoana sets features this gorgeous dress by Casa del Shai. Its sold as a "bridal dress" but my first thought after looking at the design is "couture gown". I love its simplicity and the way it wraps around your body like a beach dress. The bosom is embraced with a petal shape that can be accentuated even more by removing the shoulder puffs. Of course my vote is to keep the puffs. I always like mermaid style dresses because they show off a woman's figure in a very classic way. The dress comes in white but I tinted all its parts a very subtle pink. The skin is from Lovey Darlings 'Lovey's Boutique' in Peach, bonbon. Lovey's skins are rich and succulent and very wholesome in appearance. Sassy on cute younger shapes but maintaining elegance on my shape as well. I'm very glad this subtle makeup matched my sculpted orchid from Ashira Legien. Which was originally an earring but I enlarged it donning it as a hair piece. The set of earrings are touch-texture change so you get a multitude of options. The hair is Loraine from ETD and I love how elegant and exotic this style is. If all let loose I imagine it would be long and luscious strands. I edited the front a little to give me more of that white shine as I was going for a more mature look. Kamoana set in white shell really bring out this outfit to its full potential. You could wear diamonds or pearls but these shells will truly bring out a tropical beauty.

Look #2 Beach - Also from Casa del Shai, this Sea Shell Mailot Dress was a match made in heaven for the new jewelry sets. Its obvious shell theme along with hints of gold really work well with the jewelry and vice-versa. I love how the dress can be an optional swimsuit. I also found these adorable wedge heels at Rave Nation. They are simple and straight to the point and absolutely comfortable looking. You can slip them right off and jump into the water. The skin is also from Lovey's Boutique, which is chai in kiwi makeup. As green is one of my primary colors I have found this skin and makeup combo always at the tip of my selection. The beautiful beachy and casual hair is Lindsay from Frangipani. I was also ecstatic to play with Reel Expressions new window pose set. I must own half of Luth Brodies poses and I must say I am addicted. Reel Expressions poses are never linear.

Look #3 Casual - Seashells never have to be just for the beach. This outfit really focuses on your accessories. I paired our Violet Paua Kamoana necklace with a Gisaci Porta Corsico purse, Quintet bangles in black and Vidalia Pumps in Metallic Noir. I love this simple purse with a bamboo handle and thankfully its modify so you can shrink it (or enlarge it) to your style needs. These simple bangles accent the outfit further without taking any attention away from your true focus (your purple accents). The shoes I couldn't resist. The open toes give a relaxed feel without sacrificing absolute elegance. The outfit of layered black and white tank and jeans are from Tres Blah. Very simple and chic quality. The skin/makeup is from Total Betty from Another Fundraiser which is discontinued. Its one of my favorite skins to wear with very simple makeup that is absolutely versatile with your accessories or outfit. The hair is a pullback from ETD called Gwen. A fun and elegant hairstyle that really compliments the casual clothes and the elegant accessories.

Heartwood Sets are my favorite of the batch. Sculpted hearts with dark wood and metal keeping the ribbon and chain combo from Carollin. Also added a fun tassel and small crystal stud. Earrings and bangles are simple and stylish not taking away attention from pendant.

Ice Crystal Set is simple and elegant like most of the designs in the shop. Versatile as casual or formal. I'm currently working on a longer, more dramatic version. The packaged include a clear version and a solid version. I like the idea of transparent crystals but I know it may fight with alpha hair-dos if your hair is not a short style.

Circles Triad Set is also very simple with feint crystal bits. -- Sometimes I believe less is more. This set is more of an accent than a focus piece. Wear it to bring out a flavorful outfit.

The buzz at our boutique!

I've been preparing for a heavy store renovation. Re-constructing a new store layout (my current shop feels like a palace and I'm aiming strictly for a boutique feel this time), re-doing all my visual posters and presentation as well as looking at every old product either discontinuing the design to improve it for the future or simply touching it up. I want to keep releasing something nice every week, too. Overall I'm pretty swamped with projects when I'm in-world. I've been a little inactive this past summer with Second Life projects and I want to make up for it by grinding this season. Let's see how it goes.

Well this is post is about 3 specific things mostly besides saving this look. Ive already worn these outfits, although this time I left out BareRose flamboyant puffs on the top and waist and only kept the hand flairs making the blouse a bit more masculine. -- What I really am excited to share about is the skin from D-Skin. Originally seen on Fashion Victims post by Stephanie Misfit I was curious about its amazing smooth detail and went into the store to try on some DEMO's. D-Skin only offers women's skins and as they are arranged numerically from D-Skin 1-8 I went down the line inspecting if I could pass any off as a boy. D-Skin 07 caught my eye with its bare makeup-less and innocent face. The eyebrows are not too thin, either and could pass simply as groomed. The eye is beautifully almond enough with just a hint of makeup and shading which I love. It would've been nice to have the skin colour modifiable to a more tanner look, but with this much detail its hard to be displeased. The price is steep at 2000L and for that price I better be wearing it for a while (or forever) and I will. Except maybe when I visit beach sims in which case I will switch to FNKY Antonio.

I'm also ecstatic to discover SiniStyle hair. I have seen passing advertisements here and there of people wearing the brand but have not paid much attention since I'm not into the grunge and gore or heavy Gothic scene. I'm wearing SiniStyle's"Petrelli" Hair in Shadow.

Also, even before I started making jewelry in Second Life Jackal Ennui's Lassitude & Ennui has been on of my top favorite jewelry stores and I'm so sad I dint see some of her most timeless pieces worn on the grid. I have been eyeing Rydra, this geometric necklace & earrings set (I'm only wearing the necklace) that's absolutely breathtaking. It was modifiable so I could fit it onto my fat neck, but you women would look stunning in this in a Last Call / Simone gown or something. I chose the rainbow colour and I love how it adds an array of colour to this otherwise colorless look. -- I flew across Nouveau to grab Miriels circlet in black to match my new necklace and boots. Paper Coutures Black Pearl Ring doesn't hurt the look either.

Well, ever since artilleri's coats have come out I have been dying to work an outfit with them. At first I bought the black one but I felt very Gothic. I couldn't really find a working colour palette for the outfit so It sits comfortably in my inventory. Today I went back and picked up the snow leopard one, too. Thinking I may pull of such a print. Sorry, Lucas Lameth, no animal prints for you! -- Alas, I donned the blood red one and it was a perfect match. I've always been a fan of deep red. Its the colour life blood, passion and all that good stuff. -- I wanted to contrast the pants with the jacket so I'm wearing Estella Chocolate Burnout Pants by Last Call Catwalk Collection, which has a feint hint of red. The boots are Comfy Boots by Shiny Things. I wish they came in a dark red colour but maybe that will take focus away from the coat, so until then, black is a sleek choice. I was excited to get Tete a Pied's new glove set. It's classy and it comes in three size variations and lots of colour choices.

My favorite find today is this beautiful hat called Cecile from Elegance Hats by Morrigan Hyun. I bumped into Celebrity Trollop earlier today at the Jewelry Expo and she was wearing it. I had to have it. Its flexi and sways dreamily. My gold brooch with a white feather is actually Caliah Lyon of MUSE's new choker although it doesn't fit my neck so today it will be my brooch (yesterday I wore it as a hairpiece). I really love her new pieces. They have an air of sophistication and quality that's rare to come by in Second Life.

My favorite find for the Jewelry Expo 2007 is Accessories by Eolande Elvehjem. She has some excellent Nouveau hair combs and other designs and I'm wearing her Peacock Hair Comb.

First off, yay! In my meager attempt to cope with my emo moments I have consorted to shop therapy. RL and SL. Of course, my dollar is more bountiful in my Second Life. As well as cosmetic surgery and drastic hairstyle change are as easy as a click! click! click! *giggles*
Recently I've been engrossed in a trilogy called Wraeththu by Storm Constantine. I discovered the series thanks to Caliah Lyons many good graces and influence. Heck, even this fashion post is inspired by her own. -- Anyway, Wraeththu is about an alternate reality where humans evolve into a hermaphrodite like race. Most of the characters are effeminate men who carry both male and female characteristics at large. One of my favorite quotes from the book is, "We fight like men, and cry like women!". These looks featured here are inspired by the book with the recipe of masculine and feminine appeal in mind. Hope you enjoy them!

Regal Rider - Mmm. The outfit is Dressage from Last Call. It included a dark plaid jacket but I felt it was a little too dark for my tastes at the moment. The focus of this outfit really comes to the hair and hair accessories. The hair is Brenda from ETD, and its one of my favorites. Its twisted braid is hauntingly stylish. A little mysterious, a little seductive. The two hairpins are both from Miriel. I told myself one is enough and two is overdoing it but I was lying to myself. I deserved two. The earrings are black pearls from MUSE. They really set the elegance of the look worn on both ears. The belt and boots are both from Shiny Things. The boots are part of her new releases and also depicted for womens. If you re a burly guy It may be risky and maybe it will shrink your feet? Good thing she offers DEMOs. I think they are simple and sleek. I was hunting the grid for a heel-less boot and Shiny Things never disappoints! The belt is a pouch belt which I adore. I imagine myself keeping little trinkets and herbs I pick along my travels and storing them in the various pockets.

Royal Messenger - The outfit is Virginie, in Last Calls new womens Catwalk Collection. Although here is proof it makes durable male fashion. The hair is Naoko from ETD, one of the new ones she released with her new store opening. I love its Elven quality with a high forehead, braids and falling hair on both sides of the face. Accessories are delicately finished with a Geisha pin from Miriel (Can you believe they're only 15-30L?. That's like a USD dime.) and MUSE black pearl drop earrings. The heavy floral boots are from Shiny Things, to add a masculine touch to this feminine look. The beautiful sculpty cloack is from the talented Siyu Suen of Illusions.

(Part 2 of 2)

Here is two casual looks I fell in-love with after Catero Revolution (fashionisto extraordinaire) told me Indigo/GLAM had released new menswear. I took a TP trip and was instantly hooked. I really went trigger happy and brought everything (theres only really about less than 7 whole new sets. I'm not sure on the actual number, check it out for yourself ok?)

Oh So Comfy Casual - Clothes are all Indigo/GLAM by Chloris Hathor, the bag (oh how I love this little colorful boho bag) and the painter slip on shoes (can you believe they're free?) are from Shiny Things. Fallinwgater is Queen of accessories, period. I mean cmon, free shoes! And they're the best of the best. The hair is cute isn't it? Its such a neat bun.

Everyday Casual - The shirt again is from Indigo, I didn't change the pants. The shoes are my favorite, which I wear most of the time and they are City Walk from Shiny Things. The hair is my favorite hair at the moment, which is Taylor from ETD. Catero said it looks like Orlando Bloom hair, and hey it does! I hope this encourages some men on the grid to think outside the box and wear some long hair, eh-heh. Don't worry, even if your hair is straight and long and pretty you still can be too, if you know what I mean *winkwink*. The perfect accessory to complete this outfit is a MUSE wristwatch by Caliah Lyon. Which, ironically, was originally presented as a woman's accessory. But mind you, mind you! Enlarge it on your wrist fella's and you have the classiest fucking watch in SL! I kid you not.

These are outfits I'm very fond of If I were attending a formal event or a party.

To The Left - Yesterday I met a nice lady who directed me to Bare Rose. I love Bare Rose, really I do. But I cant navigate inside for the fuck of me. It's not them, its me. I get so overwhelmed and cant help myself. Besides the lag, too. There are outfits Ive seen on people I do not own yet for the single reason I cannot find it in there *sad face*. I dint want to complain about store layout because I own a store and I dislike outside opinions (complaints) on how my store shall be arranged. I'm meticulous like that. Please save your fired torches, stones, lynching and hang me later. -- Anyway, so I found this beautiful sheer lacey top in the Couture section of Bare Rose in the Black Cat Sim. It was calling my name and I had to have it right away! It comes in a few subtle colour options, but I chose the soft gold tone because I'm a gold person all the way. The pants come with the outfit and the shoes are City Walk by Shiny Things. The beautiful circlet (which I am ashamed for not taking a closeup of) is Miriels. Its gorgeous and I'm happy it fit my fat head. I'm also wearing MUSE pearl earrings. I kept playing with hair for this and decided on the bun. I didn't imagine hair flowing about to disrupt the blouses gorgeous ruffles.

To The Right - I'm wearing the ever renowned Paper Couture Fall Collection '07. I love this outfit. Its dark and simple. The Murse (man-purse) is also from Paper Couture, and I love the branding and not too dainty style. The frames, also from Paper Couture, I modified dark and retextured the gold to a dense silver to match my murse (not purse). My shoes are from FNKY and my hair is Jake from Frangipani. The scarf (tinted black) is from an outfit from a discontinued Last Call/Moderno outfit.

This week we have a delicious set of 3 Boho Wood Jewelry!

Necklaces & Earrings are Sold Individually to Mix and Match!

The first one is a Boho Gypsy that's absolutely city chic! It's messy and very random! A really fun piece that's sure to be the buzz! -- The earrings featured here are big loops with mixed woods, simple and fun! All the earrings and necklaces are sold individually so you may mix and match.

This set's necklace has three intertwining strands. A very down to earth wood jewelry that feels very casual and easy to blend in many kinds of outfits. -- The earrings here are a curvaceous carved pair, they are a bit sculptic and definitely something a little different. I designed them just to create a longer balance to perhaps this short necklace or short hair.

The last Boho Wood Jewelry piece we have is very long! I was feeling playful and experimenting with different looks and this is what happened. I was so tempted to add more detail in the middle but I left it alone and stayed with the design as I had originally sketched. -- The earrings here are like the big loop except they are carved to wave out. Something out of the ordinary. Fun for the both of us, aye?

If you're a little short on Lindens I suggest a custom color set but if your budget allows go straight for the multicolour. So here in NYC there have been Pride events and celebrations every week. Each borough has its own little gig and then next week is the big parade in Manhattan! Usually I'm hiding when the Pride Parade and all its jolly comes around but this year I'm infected with the good feeling. -- All in all sporting the rainbow or any queer emblem is just an empowering statement beyond sexuality. Wearing the colours mean you embrace revolution and change. Some people put everything on the line to fight for the basic right to love another human being romantically and wholly without fear of being persecuted. Those noble deeds resonate to the freedom we all enjoy today and tomorrow. Myself, I fight and I represent my community by creating these accessories and tokens.

Anchors, Toss & Tassel Set

These lovely anchor sets have been comfortable in my inventory for two months and today they finally make their debut release! -- At the beginning of the year I made simple anchor earrings for Dakota Buck, a serious anchor lover and one of my closest friends. I couldn't think of a good design for a matching necklace until a few months after. I designed a "Toss & Tassel" necklace where ideally the tube clasp in the front would open and release the tassel. So you "toss" it around your neck and close the tassel. I always want to make sure my designs or designs I'm translating always have a real life feel. -- Also, earlier tonight I looked at this design real hard and decided it would look good on the fellas too. Well, it looked good on me anyway. So cheers to men's jewelry!

Not only can customers better see the products but there are now new jewelry tables with comfortable seating for a more intimate experience! I wanted to keep warm colours around the shop. I was happy to find these beautiful red carpets at Isabella Lazarno's shop. They are such a passionate shade of red!

Here's an aerial view of the shop layout. I wanted a fancy store while keeping it comfortable. I wondered if I should set a roof but Dakota Buck convinced me it looks great without and I eventually agreed. She has good taste so it's hard to disagree! -- Like the previous shop space geometric shapes litter the floor to direct flow and also to balance out space making it friendlier to look at.

Beach Resort

Jewelry Collection

Just a while ago Caliah had brought the idea of doing a collaboration project and of course I was ecstatic with the idea. -- "Beach Jewelry" was the theme for the Summer months. Now, when I thought of beach jewelry images instantly came to mind of beaded surfer chokers and worn fabric anklets. Not exactly the kind of accessories I'd like to initially execute. "No, no... think Beach Resort Jewelry", Caliah corrected me and instantly a rush of ideas inflated my mind which exploded on my sketchbook!

While the release date and premier of the Beach Jewelry was ideally set for around early to mid June or so, a few miscellaneous events and projects have pushed the dates around. -- I'll be releasing a few pieces of the collection and Caliah will eventually follow with a stunning surprise. This duo is a collaboration by theme so each piece will resonate quality MUSE or EARTHTONES. The idea is to execute beach themed jewelry gradually over the summer months. So sit back and get comfortable along the sun-kissed coasts and enjoy your olive martini! We here at EARTHTONES are doing the same thing in-between work sessions.
